What is the purpose of the role?
The purpose of the role is to support the Ishida Europe Sales teams to deliver annual orders plan through timely support in the processing of enquiries, quotations and orders.
Primary Responsibilities
- To provide support in an efficient and professional manner through the timely and accurate processing of enquiries, quotations and gathering of order information, thereby facilitating the ease of doing business.
- To support EMEA nominated sales regions and sales owners with direct, indirect or house accounts in order to meet the budget targets of the business.
- To record and maintain accurate information for customers, opportunities, quotations and customer touch points in Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- To manage, track and progress customer change requests.
- Support with progressing from quotation to order stages ensuring all technical details and documents are correct and in line with corporate governance ready for order/project handover. Facilitate and chair kick off meetings if required.
- To establish and maintain all commercial elements, operating within the commercial governance of the business. This will include the provision of supporting materials and data required for Risk Assessments and Commercial Review stage gates.
- To maintain a high level of effective communication throughout with internal and external customers at all levels.
- To contact, meet with and support customers directly when necessary.
- To support and facilitate customer visits on behalf of the sales organisation as and when required.
- To support and facilitate pre-sale sales activities relating to Loan and Rental machines, ensuring accurate record keeping and effective communication.
- Inform the Commercial Manager / General Manager/ Key Account Manager of potential new projects / opportunities.
- Create and maintain business reporting when requested.
- Occasional travel throughout the UK and abroad, sometimes at short notice, as and when required.
- Commitment to consistently achieving company targets.
What skills are we looking for?
To be successful in the role, you will have proven relevant experience in a similar fast paced role, experience of working with global organisations and handling large accounts. You will have experience of dealing with customer queries through different forms of media and identification of new initiatives and application of them.
We require someone who has excellent technical knowledge and interest enabling the recommendation and configuration of machines to suit various applications. You will have a good understanding of company management systems, excellent communication skills written and verbal at all levels, the ability to problem solve, excellent organisation and planning skills and excellent customer service skills.
You will be customer focused, assertive and confident. You must have a proactive approach, be adaptable and resilient to change and demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
