Main Purpose of the role
To participate either individually or as part of a team, in the build of solution lines in the solutions area. In addition to aid the installation of machines and lines in the demo room - and/or support other activities in the company facility – such as repair. To work with a team of engineers completing snagging and fault-finding activities.
Primary responsibilities
- To work with a team and individually on internal and customer trials within the PDI area and demo room.
- Mechanical build up and wiring of complete line solutions or individual machines for customer or internal PDI’s or trials.
- Work to and maintain snagging lists for your allocated jobs going through the area.
- Using initiative to deal with issues as they arise in the best manner possible.
- Maintain the job packs, work to and complete relevant PDI and trial documentation.
- Co-ordinate with Projects team on a regular basis on delivery for all project related equipment to ensure it is ready for PDI on time, in the process keeping projects team updated on a regular basis on progress.
- Setting up and supporting customer and internal trials.
- Engage and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to keeping the PDI and demo room tidy and to a high standard, maintaining tidiness going forward.
- Work closely with PDI team leader/Prague Site Leader to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner with an aim to achieving on time delivery of 100%.
- Review on a regular basis with PDI team leader to ensure he has the correct manning levels and equipment to complete tasks in schedule.
- To manage and work with contractors during line builds, monitoring their performance and following Health & Safety guidelines.
- Record all problems and report same back to Team Leader.
- Build relationships with contractors and supply information, liaise best work practices, health, and safety
- Good communication skills required to communicate with the Projects, design and Production Teams as and when required.
- Support customer trials and make visitors feel welcome
- Liaise with manufacturing teams with information and feedback
- Reporting of any health and safety incidents/near misses
- Support other activities in company facility such as repair centre.
What skills are we looking for?
To be successful you must have Electromechanical background (either high school/střední škola or work experience in combination with the electro certification, Valid electro certification - NV 194/2022 Sb. (preferred §5), driving licence B required.
The role is based in Čestlice.
The ideal candidate must be a “driven”, well disciplined, logical thinking, self-motivated, team player, able to communicate at all levels and above all be highly “innovative” in delivering high standards in engineering work. The individual should be flexible with working hours.
