Main Purpose of the role

Responsible for the system design, managing work packages, management of site works and ensuring system performance and integration.

Primary Responsibilities

Delivering systems within budget, on time and to specification
Overall project management of smaller projects
Producing and managing system CAD layouts during projects life cycle
Identifying and developing system control philosophies
Producing engineering specifications for bought-out equipment or works packages.
Managing project suppliers (internal and external) to ensure agreed project deliverables are achieved.
Carrying out designers’ risk assessment for the system design concepts
Ensuring design criteria complies with all applicable technical and statutory regulations (i.e. machinery directive)
Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of “bought out” equipment
Producing method statements and risk assessments for site works
Management of site works (Knowledge of Health & Safety would be an advantage)
The role holder will undertake all tasks within their level of skill and ability that are commensurate with the post.
Provide technical solution, price calculations and risk support for sales proposals and attend both the technical and commercial weekly meetings when requested.
Take ownership of core machine deliveries; after the sales process is completed to make sure they are delivered to the customers on time.


What skills are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you must have studied in mechanical or electrical engineering, material handling experience, knowledge of AutoCAD, knowledge of Microsoft projects and Microsoft office applications and food industry or materials handling background. We are looking for someone with at least 3+yrs experience in a similar role.

You will be a team player, have well developed interpersonal and organisation skills, you must have a band ‘B’ driving licence, a valid passport and must be willing to travel extensively across EMEA. 

You will need to be fluent in English, written and spoken and speak the mother tongue of the German.
