What is the purpose of the role?
The Regional Sales Manager North of France is responsible for developing sales across the assigned territory, managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth. The role requires autonomy, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with customers, primarily in the food-processing industry. The successful candidate will report directly into to the General Sales Manager – France.
Primary responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell the company's full range of products and tailored solutions.
- Develop long-term customer relationships and expand the client portfolio.
- Present product innovations and new technologies to customers.
- Prospect new markets and identify business opportunities.
- Ensure professional, high-quality customer interactions.
Territory Management
- Manage the sales territory efficiently: North/Paris and departments 02, 27, 59, 60, 62, 76, 77, 78, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95.
- Organize weekly schedules balancing field activities and administrative tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records within the CRM system.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up on service quality.
Project & Offer Management
- Prepare technical and financial quotations using internal costing tools.
- Lead project discussions with customers and internal support teams.
- Report sales activities and market insights to the line manager.
- Ensure compliance with corporate quality standards.
What skills are we looking for?
The successful candidate must have experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Business Engineer or Technical Sales Representative in a B2B environment, preferably within the food-processing industry. You must be able to demonstrate strong commercial and negotiation skills, high situational intelligence, excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to work autonomously.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine technical curiosity and interest in industrial and mechanical solutions are essential, along with a proactive mindset, strong relationship building skills, communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. Fluency in speaking and written English is mandatory. The role is home-office based, full technical training will be provided, and the candidate is expected to uphold and promote the company’s quality standards.
