What You'll Be Doing

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and service across the Turkey and Middle East region, ensuring our customers maximise the performance and reliability of their Ishida equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, commissioning and validating new Ishida equipment at customer sites.
  • Providing on-site technical support, preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Delivering customer training on equipment operation and best practices.
  • Promoting and supporting service contract opportunities across the installed customer base.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Sales and Technical teams to resolve customer issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing customer relationships professionally, ensuring customers are regularly informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Completing service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Supporting equipment testing, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections at Ishida facilities.
  • Participating in customer demonstrations and industry exhibitions across the region.
  • Providing occasional support to customers and colleagues in other EMEA regions when required.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer service skills.

You will ideally have:

  • Engineering qualifications in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or field service engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • The flexibility to travel extensively throughout the Turkey and Middle East region.
  • Good written and verbal English skills; additional European languages would be advantageous.
  • A full driving licence.
