Main Purpose of the role

As Quality Systems Technician, you will support quality system & compliance activities including review of standards and follow up to ensure satisfactory closure of identified gaps. You will also provide support for the document control activities and support audit activities. Support all functions of business to integrate ISO across the process and workflow are up to date and meet intended outcomes.

  • Understand key safety and regulatory requirement of the machines including operation.
  • Follow and promote QEH&S requirement to meet compliance and ISO requirements.
  • Understand process approach and workflow system.
  • Can read standard, create Ishida internal standard, and integrate to required functions.
  • Help Quality Manger to manage external / internal audit as per plan.
  • Manage corrective action and drive kaizen activities for the internal and external non-conformance raised during audit.
  • Work independently to compressed deadlines and without giving in to pressure to ensure you put quality first.
  • Manage mandatory ISO documentations and database and collaborate with process owner across the business.
  • Manage change control, concession / deviation and work with the key stakeholder.
  • Work with process owner to guide and maintain objectives and KPI for performance measurement.
  • Develop and draw complex process or workflow using required software.
  • Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
  • Support compliance quality engineer in machine compliance activities where needed.
  • Help in engineering activities to implement ISO and guide them to develop IE engineering standard.
  • Promotes quality assurance across the business by putting quality first.

What skills are we looking for?

You will have quality background, with a broad knowledge of ISO document control, attention to details in reading and summarising any given standard or regulations. Have good experience in dealing with non-repetitive work associated with quality assurance, control and compliance. Must have a great aptitude for problem solving, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and possessing a good knowledge of ISO standards or process approach.

You will have a positive approach towards working with key departments to assure quality in the process and create a positive experience when working with Quality.
